City Island, technically the Bronx, has been oystering since the 1830s and still runs nearly thirty seafood houses that feel more Cape Cod than five boroughs. The actual Fulton Fish Market left Lower Manhattan for a Hunts Point warehouse back in 2005 — wholesale only, no dining room attached anymore.
